'Call Of Duty' Next 2022: Trailers and Highlights
'Call of Duty' Next
Open Beta
Multiplayer
The main competitive multiplayer component for this new series entry will feature a brand new mode 3v3 mode called "Raids," which was noted as being a "focus on team communication and coordination like never before." Some other nifty features coming to this game's multiplayer suite are the return of "Spec-Ops" and a third-person viewpoint option.
Warzone 2.0
As for "Warzone 2.0," this new and improved version of Call of Duty's take on battle royale will launch on November 16 and is being referred to as "a fully revamped experience and the most ambitious release in Call of Duty history." Warzone 2.0's map will be set within a fictional desert region known as "Al Mazrah" - you can look forward to interacting with both human and AI enemies and multiple "circles" to maneuver within/around.
Gunsmith 2.0
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II's Gunsmith mode will be defined by three different features. The first one is "Weapons Platforms," which is where you'll be able to level up your favorite weapon and evolve it into something else entirely. For example, you'll be able to turn your preferred assault rifle into an SMG, DMR, and/or LMG just by swapping "Receivers" on a specific platform that utilizes a wealth of attachments. The "Progression Overhaul" system means unlocking an attachment will do so for all the guns within a certain "Platform" or for every weapon in the game. Players can also work towards the "Mastery" of their firearms as well. And finally, you can take your customized weapons into the "Firing Range" to test them out before you take them out onto the battlefield.
Oni Operator
For PlayStation console owners that digitally pre-order Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II through the PS Store, they'll get exclusive access to an "Operator" by the name of Hiro "Oni" Watanabe and a high-level Weapon Blueprint.
'Call of Duty: Mobile Warzone'
Call of Duty Mobile: Warzone, which is set to launch sometime in 2023, was revealed - it'll be an experience built completely for mobile devices and feature mobile exclusive events, playlists, and content. Fans can look forward to participating in 120-player battle royale skirmishes every time they hop in for a match. There will be mobile-specific social features and shared Battle Pass cross-progression between the console and mobile versions of this battle royale staple. You can actually pre-register for Call of Duty Mobile: Warzone right now.
