Yakuza 6: The Song of Life was quite the emotional and epic finale meant to bring an end to the boisterous life and times of the series protagonist, Kazuma Kiryu. After that game, Sega's beloved franchise changed its name to Like a Dragon, adopted a more turn-based RPG approach to combat, and placed a new hero in the spotlight named Ichiban Kasuga. Now there is certainly a sect of Yakuza fans that prefer the more beat 'em up combat styling of the series and the hardened hero who is responsible for putting the beats on everyone that was unlucky enough to try him. Sega has heard the pleas of those same fans and has brought Kiryu back into the fold with his traditional combat methods for an epic return in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. Before it arrives, let's take a look at the game's release date, story, gameplay, and so much more.
