The Jonas Brothers' Best Songs of All Time: A Guide to Their 20 Top Tracks

• Our Favorite Lyric - "You're the medicine and the pain, the tattoo inside my brain. And, baby, you know it's obvious."

"Sucker" was a heck of a way to make a statement comeback, serving as their first single in six years at the time of its release. The track debuted at No. 1 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and US Hot Digital Songs Charts, giving the band their very first number one. Additionally, "Sucker" earned the group a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. What makes this song even cooler is the video, which featured all of their wives as their love interests.

• Our Favorite Lyric - "The two of us tonight. We can make it last forever."

When this song first debuted the critics called it "kiddy." I remember thinking that it wasn't a song meant for those beyond their teens/early twenties, but looking back I have different outlook. Sure there's an element of the song that very much screams "teenager in 2010," but it's song that those well beyond their teen years can still enjoy. Plus, it's aged very well. "L.A. Baby" could come out in 2023 and still sound fresh. 2010 was a great year though. What a time to be alive.

• Our Favorite Lyric - "I can't take a day without you here. You're the light that makes my darkness disappear."

Aww "When You Look Me in the Eyes," the crooner that made the teenage girls go crazy. The song wasn't just a hit amongst the girlies though—it peaked at No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100, and is still considered one of their best ballads to date.

• Our Favorite Lyric - "Now, you're rounding up your army. Turning all your troops on me. Telling lies just to feel happy. But I won't retaliate."

What's a good album without breakup anthem? For 2009's Lines, Vines And Trying Times, "World War III" was that anthem which centered around a nasty breakup, petty behavior, rumors, and jealously. You know...all the things that make a bad breakup...a bad breakup.

• Our Favorite Lyric - "Instead of walkin' away you should give it a break, tell me what to say. Don't throw it away."

A rather underrated track from Happiness Begins, "Don't Throw it Away" was that "pre-breakup" track that talked about a relationship being on the verge of destruction, but wanting to give it another shot before officially calling quits. The production on this song is stellar, and the melody is very catchy.

• Our Favorite Lyric - "Feel it, I feel it, it feels like I ran through the ceilin'"

The guitar lick ropes you in while the chorus leaves the song repeating in your head over and over again. "Wings," the lead single from their latest album The Album, is a nice airy track that will be great for the summer season. A song to listen to on the highway for sure.

• Our Favorite Lyric - "Well, here we are again. Throwing punchlines, no one wins."

A song that automatically makes you throw up the rock sign, "Tonight" is another underrated song in the Jonas Brothers 2000s catalog as it wasn't a major hit on the charts, but it was a huge fan favorite for their live performances back then, and we must say that the live version is a killer.

• Our Favorite Lyric - "If you hear my cry, running through the streets. I'm about to freak. Come and rescue me."

This haunting classic from 2009's Lines, Vines and Trying Times has a case for being the Jonas Brothers best song ever. You can argue, but the beat, dark melody, and background vocals were absolutely perfect. We listened to it again recently after at least five years (maybe longer) of not hearing it, and somehow it's even better now than what it was in 2009. A classic.

• Our Favorite Lyric - "Over the edge, I'm just breathless. I never thought that I'd catch this lovebug again. Hopeless, head over heels in the moment."

2008's "Lovebug" is a fun love track from their album A Little Bit Longer that has an almost slight folk sound to it. Sometimes love songs can be an elaborate "big" tune, or it can be simple. The Jonas Brothers went with the latter for this song, and it worked nicely.

• Our Favorite Lyric - "There's a whale in the pool with my mother. And my dad paints the house different colors. Where would we be, if we couldn't dream."

Putting this here solely for us kids/teens that grew up in the 2000s. Another song that aired during almost every commercial break back then. Good times.

• Our Favorite Lyric - "I want you on my team. Want you like kid just wants a milkshake."

The Jonas Brothers gave us a high school marching band anthem with Pom Poms in 2013 which was full of catchy instrumentation and a cool music video to go along with it. This song is incredibly 2013 in every way possible, and that's the reason why it's still one of our favorites.

• Our Favorite Lyric - "Woke up feelin' like a new James Dean. I comb my hair like an old-school scene."

Time for all of us to collectively put on our aviator sunglasses. While "Cool" didn't have the chart-topping success of "Sucker," it did enjoy favorable reviews from critics and the general public, reaching No. 27 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The 80s style Miami Vice video was also an entertaining one that makes the song "Cool" even cooler.

• Our Favorite Lyric - "What a man gotta pray? To be your last "Good night" and your first "Good day."

2020's "What A Man Gotta Do" was like a mixture of the dance scenes in Grease and the original Footloose, combined with a touch of High School Musical. An upbeat track that was very much needed during the year 2020, "What A Man Gotta Do" deserves a spot on this list.

• Our Favorite Lyric - "I'm on your tail, I'm gaining fast, you're going nowhere. Try to fix what you've done."

Not sure if it's the pounding drums, electric guitar riffs, or the catchy chorus that gets us going on this one, but "Pushin' Me Away" deserves a little more love in the Jonas Brothers Discography.

• Our Favorite Lyric - "If you're the one who catches me, If you're the one who catches me Tell me that you'll be there when I'm about to lose it all."

Continuing with California dreamin sound that was present all throughout the Jonas L.A. album, "Fall" is mid-tempo track that holds its own against other Jonas Brothers love songs. It's also so infectious that at times you actually forget that it's a love song, so there's that too.

• Our Favorite Lyric- "I've been to the year 3000. Not much has changed, but they lived underwater."

Oh goodness the memories that are associated with this tune. A good percentage of us were introduced to Jonas Brothers with "Year 3000" via Disney Channel which was also at its mid-2000s peak. If you don't know this song by heart, you just might be too young to be reading this article.

• Our Favorite Lyric - "Well I'm done. With awkward situation's empty conversations."

This is an S.O.S. don't want to second guess. Another instant classic from the band that's ingrained in our nostalgic memories. It truly feels like we've grown up with or alongside them.

Another 2000s favorite, and another video where Nick starts it off by running and doing an epic guitar jump.

Let's keep it going. Lines, Vines and Trying Times gave us so many bops it wasn't even funny. Though "Paranoid" will always be our favorite, there's room in our heart for uptempo love track "Fly With Me" as well.

And "Burnin' Up," the first mega-hit from the band. Just how successful was this song? Well, it reached No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, and was their biggest charting song all the way until..."Sucker." "Burnin' Up" held that record for the band for over a decade. That's how successful the song was.
