Watching TV sometimes feels like a full-time job. I do it all day, I take it VERY seriously and, frankly, it's all I ever talk about.
The biggest issue with this, of course, is that I don't get paid to watch TV, but someone will soon earn a paycheck doing just this.
Cord-cutting streaming service HowToWatch.com is offering up a true dream job—getting paid $2,000 to watch 100 hours of television in October.
The rules are simple—you have to watch 100 hours of TV by November 1, spread equally among DIRECTV NOW, fuboTV, Hulu with Live TV, Philo, PlayStation Vue, Sling TV, and YouTube TV (they'll provide you with accounts). You then have to take notes and score the quality and service of each one. They're also looking for someone with a "strong social media presence" to share your experiences online.
If that sounds like the gig for you, you better hurry. The deadline to apply is Oct. 4—all you have to do is fill out a quick application on HowToWatch.com and write a short paragraph about why you deserve the job.
But be warned: I'm applying, too, so you'll have some competition. Sorry, ONE37pm, watching TV is my *true* calling.
