G.H.BASS is introducing its first ever apparel line alongside a new collection of footwear for the Fall/Winter 2023 season. The Modern Ivy Apparel Collection is a curated collection of versatile essentials that exude classic style, designed for a modern lifestyle. Inspired by both Ivy League and Contemporary fashion trends, the collection represents a fusion of timeless elegance and timely, contemporary sensibilities, with comfort and ease at its core.

We caught up with G.H. Bass President Chris Paulk to hear a bit about the thinking going into this collection. The momentous decision to go into footwear after nearly 150 years is very much inspired by bringing the quality from the footwear into their garments: "We often say to ourselves that the best way to respect our past is to work towards the future. So by taking things like a Weejun that you can wear and wear and pass down. It's the same thing, but with an oxford."

VP of Design, JR Hancey, added: "The idea is, what is the best thing that accompanies a Weejun? So we pick staples, like a varsity jacket, a oxford shirt, a chore jacket, a chambray shirt, a wool pant, varsity sweater. Things that that could just sit in your wardrobe forever and be passed down."

Key pieces in the Modern Ivy assortment include workwear-inspired vests, wool trousers, waterproof tech jackets, rugby sweaters, varsity jackets and more. Modern Ivy embraces clean lines and thoughtful detailing, to create pieces that remain relevant and timeless. The assortment will be available beginning September 26, 2023, with pricing ranging from from $45 to $350.

Up next is MNTGE's new collaboration with leading digital art platform and art collector community PROOF, which is a  first-of-its-kind collaboration with an IRL vintage workshop, customization, and minting experience. Partygoers will be immersed in digital and physical artwork, and will have the opportunity to customize a vintage denim jacket with various MNTGE x PROOF patches and multiple effect stations: chain-stitching, heat press, and the sewing lab. All jackets will be tech enabled via NFC technology, forever giving customers and attendees digital proof of ownership.

The collab will come to life in an IRL event open to the public on September 29th at the Foundry by PROOF in DTLA (the final night of the Diamond Exhibition featuring artwork by Beeple, Terrell Jones & more).

Doja Cat and StockX have joined forces to exclusively pre-release the rapper/singer’s new Skechers x Doja Cat Doja’Lite sneakers.  The StockX pre-release features two of five colorways from the Doja'Lite collection: black and white, which blend aspects of the heritage Skechers upper on a rugged modern bottom with quality materials and colors selected by Doja Cat. The limited-run release drops exclusively on StockX on September 21st at 12:00 PM ET for $125 USD, one week ahead of its wider launch on Skechers on September 28th.

Spiber x Goldwin's first full collection has officially launched, 9 new products made with plant derived products using microbial fermentation technology in the effort to reduce reliance on environmentally impactful products and practices. n contrast to previous one-off product releases in partner with Spiber since 2020, this is first full collection, and first collection that offers outdoor winter apparel made with the sustainable material, which is a major step Goldwin's goal to shift 10% of newly developed products by 2030 to products that use Brewed Protein material.

Reigning Champ has just released the very first drop of its new SPORTSWEAR Collection, which includes classic oxford cloth button-downs, wool knits, and gorgeous heavy wool outerwear. Saucony is teaming up Independent Podcast Claima Stories to unveil the latest chapter of the “Claim A Seat,” series. As the third launch of the larger series announced at the top of the year, the Saucony capsule of the collection will include a limited-edition colorway of the brand’s iconic 3D Grid Hurricane, along with a short film emphasizing the importance of celebrating and uplifting Creatives of Color.

Katy Perry Collections Fall / Winter 2023 Part 2 is here! The campaign was shot by Greg Swales and styled by Tatiana Waterford in Los Angeles. Here's what Perry had to say about the collection:

"For this line, I was thinking ‘pixie disco space cowgirl’ with the staple characteristics of the Katy Perry Collections brand, which is bold prints, fun textures, and always a conversation starter.”
