They've been watching us, watching them, and they've known we've wanted it. While there have been various television specials and even a biopic chronicling the iconic group's rise to fame and their success as the best-selling female of group of all-time in America, TLC's story has never been told quite like this. Premiering on Lifetime and A+E Networks, TLC Forever is a two-hour documentary highlighting the phenomenal career of the iconic group. Here's everything we know about the documentary so far including the first-look trailer and release date.

When is the TLC documentary release date?

TLC Forever is set to premiere via Lifetime and A+E Networks on June 3 at 8 p.m. EST/PST. The series will be a two hour special.

T-Boz and Chilli are going to chronicle their journey in TLC Forever, and if you are a lifelong fan such as myself, then you already know TLC has always been one to keep it a buck fifty, so this shall definitely be an interesting watch.

The opening statements from both T-Boz and Chilli were definitely stand outs. "We we're the best-selling group of all-time," says T-Boz before Chilli goes on to add "No matter what we went through, we never questioned the love." The trailer also gives a glimpse into the break-up rumors and troubles that surrounded the group in the late 1990s and early 2000s with Chilli saying "I just never had that feeling that it was over," and T-Boz adding, “How are we supposed to fight against the world if we’re fighting internally?”

Is there rare footage?

There looks to be tons of unreleased and never-before-seen pictures and video clips just in the trailer alone, which is sure to be a treat for TLC fans.

TLC's path to being the biggest-selling girl group of all time in America includes selling 85 million records worldwide, nine top 10 hits, and tons of awards and achievements. However, the path to the top wasn't easy as the group faced internal conflict, illness, and bankruptcy as a trio. TLC Forever will look at the group remained strong through their trials and tribulations, while also overcoming the unexpected tragedy of losing Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez at age 30 in 2002.

TLC Forever will premiere on A&E Networks and Lifetime on June 3.
