"IT'S STING!" God bless you, Tony Schiavone. That famous call came back in full swing upon Sting's shocking arrival in All Elite Wrestling back in 2020. Since leaving World Wrestling Entertainment and planting his flag in Tony Khan's wrestling company, The Man They Call Sting has shocked the world by showing that he's still able to compete in the ring and even partake in some hardcore debauchery when the situation calls for it. Sting has been going strong for a good while now, but we all know that run would eventually have to come to an end. Sting's retirement and final match has been put in place for AEW Revolution 2024, which will take place in the Greensboro Coliseum and emanate from Sting's old WCW stomping grounds in Greensboro, North Carolina. Allow me to offer my preview of Sting's final match and the rest of this PPV card set to take place on March 3, 2024. Here are my AEW Revolution 2024 predictions!

AEW Revolution 2024: Matches and Predictions
Will Ospreay vs. Konosuke Takeshita
Preview & Predictions: DON CALLIS IS A MADMAN! Ever since his young Japanese dynamo Konosuke Takeshita defeated Chris Jericho, the leader of the Don Callis Family has decided to move on from his beef with Jericho and his supporters on the road to Revolution. Since no one's seemingly ready to take on Takeshita at the PPV, Callis has chosen one of his very own stable members to match up with Takeshita. That challenger is none other than the newest member of the AEW roster Will Ospreay, who is finally finished with his commitments to New Japan Pro Wrestling and a bunch of other indie companies.
Ladies and gentlemen, this one is going to be an absolute barn burner and a lock for the 2024 Match of the Year consideration. With these two stallions in the ring, I'm confident that everyone else on the PPV card will have a hard time following them. As for the predicted winner, I'm going with Ospreay since this is his AEW coming-out party as an official member of the roster. I can see this result leading to some trouble in paradise within The Don Callis Family and possibly leading to Takeshia reverting to a babyface when he leaves his stablemates behind.
FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) vs. Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli)
Preview & Predictions: Coming soon...
Christian Cage (c) vs. Daniel Garcia
AEW TNT Championship
Preview & Predictions: I figured Adam Copeland would find another way to clash with Christian Cage for the TNT Championship once again here, but a devastating Con-Chair-To has put the "Rated R Superstar" on the shelf for now. Taking his place in this title match is the recently rehabbed Daniel Garcia, who's done a complete 180 since competing in the Continental Classic. The fans are 100% behind him now and love way more things about him besides his crowd-popping dance. For this next bit of AEW Revolution 2024 predictions, I'm placing all my chips on Garcia getting the biggest moment of his career by tapping out Christian and winning his first AEW championship. The time to strike while the iron is hot is now! Once Copeland returns, I can see him finishing up his feud with Christian and proceeding to beef with Daniel over the TNT Championship during the spring months.
Chris Jericho vs. Wardlow vs. Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Lance Archer vs. Hook vs. Brian Cage vs. TBA vs. TBA
All-Star Scramble Match; The Winner Will Receive a Future AEW World Championship Match
Preview & Predictions: Coming soon...
Eddie Kingston (c) vs. Bryan Danielson
Continental Crown Championship (If Danielson Loses, He Has to Shake Kingston's Hand)
Preview & Predictions: Bryan Danielson doesn't even have half a crumb of respect for Eddie Kingston. Even though Eddie came out on top during the first-ever Continental Classic and has successfully defended it in the weeks since his tournament victory, Danielson still labels him as nothing more than a bum. Now Eddie is ready to show Danielson that he's nothing like the image that the "American Dragon" has of him. This isn't just a title match - it's a battle for respect between two men who go extremely hard when given 15-20 minutes to cook in the ring. I think we're getting an Eddie win here that'll continue to keep his hot streak going and lead to a fun post-match moment where Danielson shakes Eddie's hand and leads him around the ring with his arms raised...BEFORE KICKING THE CHAMP IN THE BALLS AND WALKING OFF WITH A NASTY SMIRK ON HIS FACE!
"Timeless" Toni Storm (c) vs. Deonna Purrazzo
AEW Women's World Championship
Preview & Predictions: I may have had my qualms about AEW's handling of the women's division before. But nowadays, I'm proud of the efforts being made to improve the company's presentation of the ladies who compete for the AEW Women's World and TBS Championships. "Timeless" Toni Storm has been an absolute treat under her new Marylin Monroe-esque gimmick, while Deonna Purrazzo has done a great job of getting the wins needed to establish herself as a force in the AEW women's division. The former friendship between both ladies has made this matchup feel a bit more personal and I've enjoyed watching them grow their hatred for one another as the weeks passed by. As for who will leave this match with the AEW Women's World Championship, I'm predicting a win for Toni here since there's still a lot of steam left for her as the champ. I don't see Toni dropping the strap until either Jamie Hayter makes her welcome return or Mercedes Mone (the ex-WWE superstar formerly known as Sasha Banks) steps up to the plate.
Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Roderick Strong
AEW International Championship
Preview & Predictions: The Undisputed Kingdom needs a jolt in the arm right now because they've been feeling a bit lifeless ever since they put MJF on the injured list back at World's End. With stable member Roderick Strong rising to wrest the AEW International Championship away from Orange Cassidy on behalf of the heel group, it looks like we finally might see Adam Cole's unit earn a bit more credibility. Orange has had two great runs with the International Championship thus far and can afford to lose to move onto something different or take a break from TV altogether. Roderick will capture the title here and mark the first step towards the Undisputed Kingdom's reign of dominance as they capture more AEW gold.
Samoa Joe (c) vs. "Hangman" Adam Page vs. Swerve Strickland
Three-Way Match for the AEW World Championship
Preview & Predictions: This is another announced matchup for this event that has all the makings of a Match of the Year candidate! "Hangman" Adam Page and Swerve Strickland's 2023 war has been one for the ages - their blood feud has raised their stocks and given them a chance to showcase themselves to a very appreciative AEW audience. Samoa Joe has been on an amazing run as the AEW World Champion and has restored the feeling for a title that's needed a new lease on life ever since MJF's previous reign. Now Joe, Page, and Swerve all find themselves locked in for a multi-man war that points to just how refreshing the AEW main event scene feels in 2024. This is how I see this one going down - Page will find himself the unlucky target of a match-ending Coquina Clutch that will force him to tap out, which in turn helps Joe retain the title. This result will keep Swerve strong as he can tell the world how he wasn't pinned or submitted during this match, which will lead to him working his way back to challenging Joe for the title at May's Double or Nothing PPV.
Sting and Darby Allin (c) vs. The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson)
Tornado Tag Team Match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship (This Will Be Sting's Retirement Match)
Preview & Predictions: The legendary face-painted master of the Stinger Splash, Scorpion Death Drop, and Scorpion Death Lock is finally ready to hang up his black & white boots. Ever since announcing his attentions to retire at AEW Revolution 2024, I've been sadly counting down the days to it eventually happening. I'm ecstatic over the fact that Sting and his best friend Darby Allin will come into this PPV as the AEW World Tag Team Champions to defend them against the newly heel-turned-Young Bucks. To top it all off, Sting gets to compete in the match that gives him enough freedom to pull off some hardcore hijinks and have the crowd on its feet from start to finish - a Tornado Tag Team Match!
For my final piece of AEW Revolution 2024 predictions, I'm placing all my bets on Sting going out on top by tapping out one of the Bucks and retiring with his head held high with a championship still around his waist. Sting will get the post-match celebration of a lifetime while confetti pours into the ring and the fans shower him with congratulatory cheers & applause. This victory will lead to the AEW tag team titles eventually getting vacated, which will lead to a tournament to crown new champs down the road. Sting has been treated like royalty since coming to AEW and he'll continue to be treated that way during his final active performance as a member of Tony Khan's wrestling company.
