Adidas Originals Teams Up With Japanese Brand Have A Good Time

In Tokyo's Nakameguro district, there is a small shop established in 2010 by a small group of street artists that today has grown into a symbol of Tokyo’s streetwear and culture. Have A Good Time, as it's called, is not only the logo for this brilliant and vibrant shop-cum-brand but also a friendly message that can be applied to all aspects of life.

Adidas Originals wanted to tap into that goodwill by teaming up with Have A Good Time for a capsule collection. Using the iconic Adidas Samba silhouette, Have A Good Time makes its mark with a simple logo consisting of a serif typeface encased in a red frame. This minimalist approach not only helps keep the essence of the Samba's kangaroo leather upper and suede toe overlay but also draws your eye to the tongue branded by the Have A Good Time logo. The collection also includes a nylon black reversible track suit embellished with the classic white 3-stripes along the sides. When reversed, the other side features an allover print of the Have A Good Time logo, which makes for a vibrant juxtaposition.

The collection is out Oct. 25th worldwide. Not only is the Samba a timeless silhouette that you can wear with damn near anything but now also boasts a great message and daily reminder. Whatever you do, just remember to Have A Good Time.
