The second edition of this special-edition silhouette combining the Nike Dunk and Blazer by Japanese fashion label Sacai releases this week in two monochromatic colorways. Combined with double tongues, double Nike swooshes, double shoelaces, and branding on the heel tab of the shoe, we get a lux feel from the color blocking used this time around.
Sacai and Nike are having a great run this year and with many saying that the collaboration is definitely the sneaker of the year. Don’t miss out on a chance to grab a piece of history in the making.
Adidas Originals x OAMC Type O-2L / Type O-2R
Release date: October 10
Price: $250
Adidas Originals and OAMC continue their capsule collection with this week's release of the Type O-2L and Type O-2R. The Type O-2 shoe is a combination of the iconic Stan Smith upper from 1972 with the brand new Supercourt RX sole tooling. With an emphasis on functionality, this silhouette blends the two sneakers together to achieve a rich contemporary design aesthetic.
With the Type O-2L (the L stands for leather) and the Type O-2R (the R stands for rubber), both shoes come in two colorways and have a unique contrast based on the materials used in its construction. Easily the perfect shoe to dress up or down, this is a versatile sneaker to wear for your upcoming holiday party.
Travis Scott x Air Jordan VI
Release date: October 11
Price: $250
Travis Scott’s latest collaboration with Jordan Brand, the Air Jordan VI. With the previously rumored launch dates far behind us, this week is the official release date for one of the most anticipated sneakers of 2019. Coming equipped with a glow-in-the-dark sole, a perforated reflective underlay beneath the olive suede upper and a small utilitarian pouch placed on the ankle, this collaboration has transformed the OG Air Jordan VI far beyond our imaginations.
This special edition Air Jordan VI also includes the Houston native and record label founder's signature “Cactus Jack” branding on the lace lock and right heel. Infrared color accents along with iconic Nike Air branding on the left heel nod to the original Air Jordan VI colorway and plays up on the co-branding of this silhouette. Extremely limited if this is on your list of sneakers to cop this year, good luck!
