PSA, one of the largest sports card grading companies in the world, decided to suspend operations because they were inundated with cards to grade. It was reported that the number of cards to be graded numbered in the millions, and they took a pause to catch up before moving forward.
As demand for the hobby has grown, so has the supply by way of these new submissions to PSA and other grading companies. While it’s great to see the interest in the hobby exceed its infrastructure, what could this mean for values of cards?
