Plus, when Maya Rudolph and Kristen Wiig team up for something, you know it's going to be good. The duo starred in a handful of hilarious sketches together and overall, the show was filled with laugh out loud funny skits that made us remember the true meaning of the improv show.

There are a lot of reasons why this episode was so good, but one of the main reasons was because we got our favorite SNL character Stefon back for one night.

Sure, SNL fans missed Bill Hader too, but when he left the cast, losing Stefon as a regular really hurt. Bill Hader was about as great of a cast member as they came, so it's no surprise that this episode was such a hilarious success.
