Vans Vault and Palm Angels Team Up on Some Classic Silhouettes

The OG versions of the Vans Old Skool and Sk8-Hi are iconic in their own right, but they also provide an incredible canvas for creative collaboration. Today, Vault by Vans and Palm Angels are joining forces for the first time on a Sk8-Hi VLT LX, a Sk8- Mid VLT LX, and the Old Skool LX. Here's what you need to know about the Vans Vault x Palm Angels collab.

With individuality and uniqueness being a key theme of Palm Angels since their inception, along with their personal approach to life, the skateboarding scene has always been a primary reference for the brand. Palm Angels' roots date back to 2014 with images shot and published by Francesco Ragazzi in 2014, in Venice beach in Los Angeles. 

Ragazzi, who is also the Founder and Creative Director of Palm Angels, had this to say about the brand's early beginnings and partnership with Vans:

“Palm Angels started with a photography book and Vans was already there. I took a picture of a guy skating in Venice beach, wearing the most vintage Vans Sk8-Hi I had ever seen and since then, the idea of Palm Angels collaborating with Vans has always been in my mind. It’s now finally reality. With this collection I wanted to recreate exactly that same image: few models with a vintage feeling and a contemporary take."

The Palm Angels x Vans Vault collaboration will launch today, September 27th, exclusively on palmangels.com and in selected Palm Angels store worldwide.

And beginning October 1st, the capsule will be available at select Vault by Vans retailers worldwide.
